Why you need to start using a natural deodorant

Updated: Jan 5

The good ol' roll on and spray deodorants that smell like high school... they may be cheap to buy from Woolies, and they may be a bit more convenient to purchase on your weekly shop.

BUT some of those deodorants on the supermarket shelf are literally leaching with chemicals that are not so good for your health.

The most common chemical ingredients found in deodorant and antiperspirants are parabens, triclosan, phthalates, propylene glycol and aluminum.

Research has linked these ingredients to several medical conditions including types of cancer and reproductive development issues (you just need to ask Dr Google about what havoc these ingredients can play on your endocrine systems. Not cool).

So, step forward natural deodorants.

Yes, there are many that leave you smelling like a cab driver (sorry cabbies), therefore many of us lay traumatised to try another one.

But honestly, our Everything Olive Natural Deodorant WORKS an absolute treat.

Mon lovingly hand-makes our deodorants in our industrial kitchen in South Australia.

We only use local ingredients (gotta support the locals, y'all!) and we only use natural, organic ingredients ('cause they're better for us).

And all that we use is extra virgin olive oil, beeswax, bicarbonate of soda, white clay and essential oils.

That's it.

You can wear it to the gym. Wear it all-night dancing (yes, I have tried this). Wear it to work where you're in close contact with your boss all day. Wear it to date night. Wear it all day and all night, and still smell fresh in the morning (have tried this too).

And we promise, it'll work. We got you!
